Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. • A word to the highest rated comments. Do you really think Chris Nolan would make it that obvious?

  • the point is that, it doesn't matter whether or not it was a dream. what matters is that he is happy. that is why he walked away after spinning it, because he didn't care

  • Both reviews of this movie helped me enjoy it better, tho it was pretty interesting to look at (fantastic special effects), at least after listening to you all the plot made more sense.

  • So I rewatched the movie yesterday and noticed that anytime Leonardo DiCaprio is dreaming his eyes are two different colors, one is green and one is blue. His ex-wife's eyes are the same way whenever she is on screen. And when he is not dreaming both of his eyes are blue. At the very end of the movie they do a close up of his eyes and they are indeed different colors which to me means he's dreaming. Just a theory.

  • if you pay attention to the main characters children then you will notice that they are older from the day he left them. i think nolan cut before it fell but he wanted to keep the audience guessing.

  • The movie cut before the totem fell. It's that simple.

  • It is a simple concept of cinematography to have this kind of ending. An "open" ending, which is a great tool to engage people and have an ongoing thinking about the movie even after the movie has finished. It removes the complete experience of the catharsis which makes the audience to want more. Great movie.

  • @0407luke his kids were there, meaning he was happy, why would he leave that world

  • @MomentumFreerunners It seemed more like he walked away from it because he saw his kids turn around, not because he didn't care.

  • @growlertiamat dnt kill yourself though -____-

  • @mrfabo60 Man I think you Genius!! Actually by leaving the ending as "open" that's exactly what happens...you start thinking about it, you still think about the movie/reality, it makes you doubt about reality itself...which is the greatest Inception that can be done!
