Landon Knoblock - solo piano - "something bad is gonna happen"

I was getting into the colors of the extreme registers of the instrument. Trying to make a sonic landscape with the deep lows interspersed with sparkling highs. After listening to this piece, all I could think about was rocks, water, and caves as seen through a later 20th century tv filter of sorts. And then, creepy people looking very disconcerted by what they are hearing. A friend of mine heard this music and commented"uh oh, something bad is gonna happen". I think that sums it up. The entire piece sounds like something bad is just lurking right around the corner.
