Sounds like a coffee I would like. But I like strong, dark roast coffee. Last time I saw a fountain? It was at the college of Idaho when the high school took a tour there. It was a AWESOME fountain! Haha thumbs up!

@CoffeeCupNews Furthermore, the ripeness period varies depending on the intended method of extraction.

Funny thing is that it's not considered important info and is considering "details" with coffee, but if you went to buy produce you wouldn't buy an apple from a bin labeled "Apples" with the apples pre-sliced in a bag with no hint of how fresh they were. Most people inspect each piece of fruit before buying it to make sure it's not old. The same applies to coffee. It has it's "ripeness" period. The flavor even changes within that period of about a month!

My point is that high quality coffee and CostCo do not go into the same sentence...ever!

@CoffeeCupNews I know, i see it all the time on american TV (and wheezywaiter) but never in real life. Maybe some coffee shops or restaurants use them, but whenever the process of making the coffee is in view, they make espresso and top it up with hot water.
You left out the important information...
When was it roasted? How long was it sitting at CostCo? How long between your review and the roast? What kind of roast? What's in the blend? Is it a melange or an origin blend?

I've never had coffee from a drip coffee maker, only a french press (or caffetierre as I know it) nor have I ever seen a drip coffee maker in real life. I dont think they get used in UK really.

@LeoMRogers wow! seriously? This is shocking to me. Drip is probably the Most Used way to brew coffee in the USA.
