Agreed. Evans was a modified legend. I am 29 and never saw him race personally, only through videos and stories. Its really a shame that the NASCAR Mods do not get as much coverage on TV. These things can go faster then the Cup cars at New Hampshire! Supermodifieds are great too, its just a shame that they do not get sponsorship backing or as visible. These forms of racing have better racing then the Cup series and less B.S. Bar none.

i agree with 99 boyz bring back the Modifieds on tv somewhere... anywhere these are the best racing cars in the world along with the super mods. Ive been to cup races mod races and super mod races, and the fact that the cup series is the big series is sickening to me... and im an earnhardt sr fan. but im a bigger richie evans fan. oh yea... im only 24 and only got to see richie race through the videos on this site!

i wont argue with rick benjamin on the history of this speedways involvment in mod history but no one can doubt that oswego holds just as much history as this place

It does suck that Speed wont show these guys anymore. Id rather watch these guys instead of the pussies from the "Cupcake" series

thanks for that. unbelievably braindead that there is not a tv package for the modifieds. just goes to show you that the people in control are so out of touch with real racing.
