b'cuz its a recirc bov. it prevents loss of power when u release pressure. it sucks air back into the engine instead of just releasing it. .....and maybe the fitment is different thats why they said "specifically made" for 08s. who f*ckin knows!?>

so i just installed it to day, it sounds great, 1st gear sounds good but when i hit second it sounds like a compresson surge, is anything wrong with that, im not sure what to do

how many rings you got in there? i know exactly what u r talkin about.. it happened to me as well. try putting all 6 rings in and see what happens. im sure thatll take care of that.. give it some time too.. ur ECU needs to adjust to it

Hi bud its not a simulator he has a turbo, and thats a blow off valve! Its there to prevent air surge in the intake!

Recirculating bov's are just another style of bov and they will work on anything else. They are really nice because they prevent your engine from running rich when you let off of the gas. Since the bov is after the mass air flow sensor if you are venting to atmosphere, your engine thinks it is getting a certain amount of air to mix with the fuel but if you are dumping to atmosphere after you let off the gas that air is gone and you get a rich condition.
