  • 355 GTS is better :D

  • Yes. Better for the Mechanics wallet... The 328GTB is one of the rarest v8 ferraris ever built and the 88.5 to 89 models number less than 100. And they can be driven more than 140,000 miles with just routine maintenance unlike your 355....

  • I wish I had a 355 :( :P

But your right though. And I can't believe I stated my opinion as fact. I normally bitch to everyone who does that but now I did it myself :\

  • I agree the 328 is the thinking mans way into Ferrari ownership. Unfortunately you have a 328 with ABS there, as the 88.5s, are the ones with concave wheels and the chassis set up of the ABS model but without the heavily laden ABS systems. This gives less unsprung weight at the wheel and aids turn in and response without the disadvantages the abs brings to brake feel. I have a reall 88.5 and have never locked my brakes up despite enthusiastic use.

  • The 308 and 328 series I think, remain to this day, the prettiest Ferrari's. They just define that low, wide, racing stance that Ferrari is now known for. Gorgeous. However, for anyone jumping into ownership, if you are truly into them, its all good. Paying what you pay for maintenance is worth every penny. When my Benz needs repair, I'm depressed. When my Spyder needs repair, I get on it right away, and can't wait to get it back.

  • anti dive without abs? who cares? lots of 3x8s made. I've got a tickle me elmo in my 89 328 gts now that makes it unique - which is better than rare. nice car though.

  • @jamecontent

    Lol what?

    What comments about me?

    And I have 'made' proof?

  • @DutchManticore considering the comments about you, you have made the proof of your stupidity - get a brain

  • 328 and 308 represent cheap ferrari motoring, the mechanics are simple, basically a go kart with a big V8 lump :-) They are bullet proof and unlike modern Ferraris they do not have complicated electrics /computer nor a fragile cambelt, oh and don't believe the myth that you have to change the belts every 2 years regardless of mileage, the 308 handbook says every 40k miles, just keep an eye on the condition of the belts and if they look fine leave them and save your money.

  • The 328 was a ruined 308. Typical 80s changes to a beautiful 70s design. This is the point where Ferrari went downhill (This and the ghastly Testarossa).
