Sony's PMB is supplied with Cyber-shot, Handycam and Alpha cameras, as well as on many VAIO notebooks. It offers fast and easy browsing of years of your digital photos and videos... plus a few extra tricks. This clip introduces the software and demonstrates features like viewing images with GPS location data and uploading to YouTube.

I question the face recognition/gps system and tagging. now with automatic updates 'i am guessing', but would 'big brother' be getting 'you' to provide all your info to the govt. Too much is happening regarding tagging face recognition and gps. How convenient for them that they put all this in date order!. PMB need to clearly explain how they have access to this data, how/who they share it, or sell it to!. So does *acebook. I see this as a global data collection of people location events.

I have a HDR-CX110 and am trying to export my videos directly to YouTube using the share publicly tab and then filling in the stuff for my channel. BUT it only let's me upload up to 1:28 seconds of video???? I don't get why it's limiting me to this. PLEASE REPLY!!

Hey, I just got a new sony video camera (DCR-SR68) and it came with a PMB disc. I've looked at PMB help, but whenever I edit a video and click "edit saved video" or what ever and then go to tittling and stuff, then hit save again it never saves. And how do you combing numerous clips (videos) to one video? Please write back quick!

@GRINDSHINETV I actually use a range of cameras (depending on what I can lay may hands on). Thinking back, I was probably using an HDR-XR520 Handycam around this time.

the maps just don't work on mine I've updated as well? it just goes blank...stays white

@BOYINGTON19909 That's sometimes caused by internet connection settings... If you're trying to use it on a work network or similar it could have something to do with a proxy being used (normally you'd receive an error). Otherwise, it might just be a bit slow to load (again, largely down to your internet connection) - just give it a few seconds.

@javiq91 You need a fairly recent version of PMB (I'm using version 5.3). Select 'Help / Check for updates' to get the latest version. Make sure you also select 'Hi' in the quality setting in the uploader (this will let you upload at up to 1080p from AVCHD cameras etc).
