I just bought one of these guitars (AM73) and play it through a priceton chorus Fender (non tube). I was disappointed by the sound I got. Do you think adding some pick ups will do the trick? Amp? What? You have a great sound and blues style!
Also can this guitar take a bigsby tail piece?

you're excellent! made me want to buy this guitar now that i've heard its potential!

AM73 is the same as an AS73, however it is slightly smaller. Smaller belly.

I picked up an AM73 about 6 months ago, and I've gotta say the DiMarzio's make a huge difference...also you are a great blues player, so that always helps :-)

Hey man, awesome sound! It's so beautiful to see the feel and passion you express in this clip. 5/5!
PS: I'm out searching for new humbucker pickups for my Gretsch Electromatic G5124. I play blues kinda melancholic tunes. Do you have any suggestions on any fitting pickups?

Sorry for the delayed response i did notice th epost. I'm not what mods can be done tot the Gretch its a rockabiliy guitar with those toaster pickups it would depend would could fit with out having to mod the guitar. I'm not a big gretch fan so I'm not familar with the layout but I no the folks over at Dimarzio are very helpful when it comes to explaining the sound each pickup gives u I would call them
