Turbos produce more power, but there are drawbacks, Two that i see as the main ones, high back-pressure, and the plumbing you need. The rootstype supercharger though is very inefficient but the twinhelix that produces loads of boost at much lower rpms. The best super in my opinion is the centrifugal type which is pretty much a belt driven turbo instead of a exhaust driven turbo but this has its own problems according yo where you have it carbourated or what pressure your fuel injectors work.

i agree with the part that turbos are better especially when you consider that there are now many systems which can practically eliminate turbo lag like twin charging, but of course this complicates the engine. However, i just like to say again it is turbosupercharger!! it was first sold to the public under that nomenclature they just shortened it to make it more distinguishable.
