@padfootsgurl8179 I think if you really searched your heart, you would find that you, and most people who believe in such things, are simply too attached to the concept of god to ever honestly consider the alternative. The very idea might even be frightening to most. The thought of there not being a god does not frighten me, or sadden me, nor does the thought of there being one, because I grew up believing that. Therefore, I've never had an emotional stake clouding the issue for me.

What a total waste of time. God is all powerful. How can you compare him to one superhero numbnuts. He isn't even of flesh like superman. Superman would go blind and his hair would turn grey if he even looked at him.

Superman would not even attempt to fight God anyways because 1.he loves God and 2.knows he would be turned into a pile of salt faster than he could blink.

@wuezili I'm aware this is the reason. There are too many inconstants in life that I admit I use is as a security. Though there is nothing wrong with thinking with your heart, as long as you do it in moderation. Most things are fine in moderation. Religion is included in this. However, although I identify with Catholicism the most since I was raised that way, I don't consider myself religious. Religion itself has it's issues. No one should be told what to believe in.

This whole argument is ridiculous. How does anyone think Superman could ever beat someone (in a fight) who obviously created everything including the concept of super powers? If he made them he can give himself said powers. Like how a blacksmith is capable of using the swords he makes to defend himself. Superman is an extremely powerful being compared to our standards but not by God's.
