Amy Kate conducts a tour of Walt Disney's Carolwood Pacific Barn, preserved in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. It is home to many Walt Disney artifacts celebrating his love of trains both big and small.

  • @deltafour1212 The train is 1/8th scale, that is, it's one-eighth the size of the original. Another way to say that is: 1.5 inches of the model equals one foot of the prototype. Sometimes they say that as "inch-and-a-half" scale. Walt ran his train on 7 1/4" gauge track. (The "gauge" is the distance between the rails.) Today, most 1/8th scale equipment is run on 7 1/2" gauge track.
