Did I ever add that years ago I 'met' someone on line that sent me a cd or two with this song on it ? Just like this. I went on the road with some people after I had been sent this and remember being so thrilled to see the road signs of tehachape and tonapah (sorry about the spelling) @ 3:31 hear the beer bottles getting thrown away - never forgot that part even after I managed to lose the cd. In all honesty, it seems I left at some young bullriders house, bfore I left for the'road'. .

@YoakamNotYoakum Yeah, that's true. I really enjoy these versions, too. The other day I listened to an officially recorded live album. That was nice, too, but no straight acoustic versions. The full band versions are always different. I think Dwight is best when it's only him and the guitar.

Is there an album with all the live stuff? Also Carmelita (94) or Suspicious Minds (99). Would be interested to know.

Not as far as I know, these are all bootlegs and so they were never officially released.... but, he has put out a couple of official Live albums... :) I love the boots especially though, notably because he doesn't know he's being recorded in most of them so it feels more spontaneous. :)

yeah, dwightyoakamacoustic . net is the name, it's an amazing album! it's studio, not live, and completely acoustic just guitar, except one song has one electric guitar and one other is A Capella!
