Producer Odd Hynnekleiv is happy that they have gotten the winner of Eurovision Song Contest in the movie.

"I think that means a lot, that we have something that is known and something that people can... I think it means a lot, [I'm] very happy about this.

A: "It's actually very much like Fiddler on the roof, that I start the movie by playing. But now I'm playing with the main character Yohan, and that is... that's the scene I was lured in with, that "you will get an opening scene", and that's cool, and then, then I don't need any more scenes in the movie, you know."

"It will be a kind of music duel, between Yohan, who meets the gipsy fiddler, and that will be a musical duel between norwegian folk music and gipsy music. And it's Alexander Rybak who's the gipsy fiddler and Robin Daniel who is... who plays the flute."

Even though Rybak only plays a small part, he gets a central position in the opening of the movie.

Here Alexander Rybak gets his movie debut, as the gipsy Levi in the movie about the child wanderer Yohan.

A: "This is only a funny project for me, I almost wouldn't call it a movie debut for me. It's more fun. I have a tiny part, you know."

The scene where Rybak acts is the opening scene of the movie, and here Rybak gets the chance to pull out his violin.
