sorry for the choppy video this was uploaded while i was mobile : P anyway it seems that most students liked the idea of being able to defend themselves on campus even the engineering and psychology department took photos with open carry people : D if you carry into a university building with a concealed handgun you must have a concealed handgun permit outside walking around you are okay to open carry without a concealed handgun permit

@tyhouston5 that is terrible that anyone would have to go through that. Everyone never forget this shooting or VA Tech, they were gun free zones that allowed these criminals to go on rampages. I hope we can get the right to carry in Illinois on campus soon; politicians are in the works already doing a study showing concealed carry would integrate well into Illinois without a problem. everyone check the nra website for more information.

@AmericanMade72 heads up! you can not go to sporting events or special events run by the university while holstered. I may be wrong because i haven't read it in a month. but please read the description of this video, it will lead you to the webpage link which will take you to the pdf file of the Attorney generals office opinion about the right to carry on campus. I carry everyday! Only time I'm away from my protective tool is when I'm following state law (no carry in banks) besides that to college and everything is A okay! Weapons are a tool of self defense of you life is in danger! I'm tired of people looking at weapons as unstable immediate highly explosive mass casuality objects
