2004, Performance with the Laurel Fund at Kennedy Center Millenium Stage.
Not as nervous but looking really nerdy.
I must apologize to everyone who would like to get tabs or notes for this. The video is from years ago and I no longer have the notes to share.

  • Brilliant music, and brilliantly played!

It's a pity that the internet is full of new Sherlock Holmes stuff and the old Russian movie (and the best one, to mind mind) is scarcely mentioned. Thanks for posting this vid here!

Btw, I do have notes, if you're interested, write me a message.

  • @leoram1988 Thank you, I'm glad my highschool playing reminds people of the great Russian film version. This was so long ago, I have since stopped playing, so I wouldn't really need the nots. But thanks for the offer. :)

I would suggest the British TV show version too, though it is set in contemporary London.

  • that guy is very good! Fantastik! Thx buddy !

  • @AzizShamsiev lol I'm a girl. :)

  • Really good! Although part of it sounds like 'wind the bobbin up'

loved it though! You're very talented :)

  • Thanks, glad you liked it. What is 'wind the bobbin up'? Is that another American childhood tune I missed? :)

  • O.K. This tune has been composed by Vladimir Dashkevitch. It's the main theme from soviet film "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson". Thank you from Russia!

  • @mariayorke I meant to offer notes not only for you but for other tube users, too=)

Do you mean the BBC version? I'm going to watch it as soon as I have time, 'cause it's been already said much about it here in Russia.

  • @RuleOfTheInternet

Not only did they make it, but it was also considered the best Sherlock Holmes movie ever by Queen Elizabeth II.

  • @mariayorke

guess you will fix this issue :)

  • I suddenly got alot more respect for the russian people after hearing that they have made an Sherlock Holmes movie :o

  • Great Thank !!!

  • респект )))
