A worthy remake of the CLASSIC 1959 adventure! Incredible 3-D technology! Awesome effects! A great cast of talented actors! This is movie excitement the way it used to be! FAR better than the two made-for-television films with Treat Williams/Rick Schroeder in the lead role! Never realy cared for the 'theory of the Sakneussemm Vortex' idea in those movies!
