An actor gets paid to act my friend. Do you think Oldman is a Russian radical who wants to kill the President of the United States? Do you think Southerland is an international thief who was once killed by Ed Norton? No. Those are characters they've played; just like in this commercial. If an actor isn't acting, they're not getting paid.
