I'm sure anyone that watched WCW or CWG remembers 3 things - Wrestling came on TBS at 6:05 and lasted 2 hrs - UNLESS the Braves had a 7:05 or 7:35 game. I always checked the TV guide a week ahead and was ecstatic if it was a 2 hr show. Secondly, the show often ended with a melee in the ring. I would say 3rd - but it should go without saying Gordon carried the show. Everyone else could come or go and the show would go on.

@gonzomoya420 Hogan was in no way superior to Flair! Hogan was more popular during the mid to late 80s because he was a "face" and Flair was mostly a heel. They had two different characters, which they both played well. But hogan had to dominate, he totally relied on the selling skills of his opponents. Flair was a showman on both sides of the coin!

I could c Harley race leading a horsemen like group. But I don't think they b elite as far as classy suit wearers,they'd b elite athletes but a buncha rugged cats. Cats like dick slater,Ken patera,the funks,Ted debiase,etc.

Hogan sucked with his two move skill set. Flair didn't need a million dollar PR machine behind him to sell out an arena unlike Hogan who couldn't sell out his backyard without Vince's money behind him.

this is why Flair appeared so weak. and this is why Hulk Hogan was so superior to Flair as a champ back in the 80s. Here Flair is flat on his back and his title is given back to him because the other guy went off the top rope. is that supposed to make an impressive champion? Hogan otoh would always destroy his challengers in a very dominating manner. But Flair would always be the same. He kept his title thru bullshit not domination. no wonder the WWF took over.
