I agree with Dustin Hoffman that The Belle Stars version was better. Great drum sounds and Jennie's voice make the difference for me.

There are hundreds of versions of this song (based on a traditional chant), but this is the one I remember from my childhood.

This is the version I first remember on some obscure music video program in the early 80s called "Video Concert Hall" out of Atlanta. I had never heard the song before and absolutely loved it. Haven't seeen the video since. Thanks for making it available.
