  • @ryangolf1212 ... not necessarily. bacteria mutate and it is very possible for them to be able to eat other things that we DON'T want. Its never a great idea to release things like that into an ecosystem.

  • what is the property of hay that makes it suitable for this experiment?

  • @xbudt so you are one of this two fatty, huh?

  • @ashlon0929 You Idiot, this crap CLEANS the ocean and its easy as hell to get rid of it!!!

  • clean the ocean by puting more crap in it? U got be kidding me

  • A Blast From the Past… from Shultz, ‘Hogan’s Heroes’ … “I know NOOOThing!” When will every one on the Gulf coast wake up? get on the train, you all have a free ride… ‘I know nothing’… i know nothing, iknownothing, nothing i know… nothing. train. bye.

  • Yes, bacteria can mutate but they can't experience a genetic mutation so radical that their entire metabolic system is overturned and they begin to consume something else. If a bacteria could mutate this much then any old bacteria could pose a similar threat. Besides bacteria like this already exist in oceans around the world. The purpose of Munox would be that it's a mixture of multiple oil-eating bacteria species so it would be more effective than just bacteria that already exist in the gulf.
