HOMEMADE ECHINACEA TINCTURE-EASY!

Homemade Echinacea Tincture. We have been making this for over 11 years. It is super simple and the savings are incredible. All you have to do is add the root to the vodka, mix it up twice a day and in a month you have usable tincture. This video shows how we re-use the roots until all of the good stuff is taken out of the root. I hope this video is helpful!

I usually use about 2 to 1 if the root is dried. The root/liquid does not have to be refrigerated. It will last for years just on the shelf. If it is stored in the refrigerator I would expect that it would last indefinitely!

So how much root to how much vodka? I see you used about 1/5 bottle of vodka but how many oz. of root did you use? Also how long does it last in your refrigerator before going bad? Ty.
