if you diss Neil Peart's drumming, you have to be one of those drummers who think that playing horribly inaccurate double bass as fast as you can all the time makes you a good drummer.

wow ..Neil rocking traditional grip .... nice ..... and regarding his warm up ... a long burning solo is a great way to get the kinks out before a show ... doing little things on the pad is ok but it does nothing for your arms , legs , and entire body ... and most people use more than their hands and fingers on a gig ... Neil knows this and warms up accordingly

Neat... maybe i shud try that. I met a guy at college that roadied for them. He said he only ever saw Peart fuck up once... he threw one of his sticks too high and it hit a light - lol.
