  • great playing man, im a guitarist and iv always wondered why for a steel guitar do u have two necks, are they tunned to diffrent tunnings?

  • Hey thanks for watching. Yes , you're right about the different tunings. E9th and C6th

  • I'm just a listener - not a picker. This just went into my favorites bin, 'cause good pedal steel and Hag are right up there with air, food and water in my gotta haves...

    Thank you

  • That reminds me of a funny story one time when I asked Bobbe Seymour what the difference was between one neck & 2 necks. He said, "One. What's the difference between one and two? One." Then, he laughed and explained the different tunings of the necks. It has often been said that the E9th neck is the one a steel player makes his/her living with. The C6th is for fun. Indeed, it is a fun neck to create some great sound on. When buying a steel, I highly recommend getting one with both necks.

  • BUDDY I LOVE YOUR MUSIC BUT I ENJOY IT MORE WHEN RAY PRICE IS SINGING
