Just goes to show if you put an engine in a rice krispie it will go quick, doesn't change the fact it's a French shopping trolley.
-
Clio speedos are way out, so the 0-100 was probably nearer 16 secs which is just a bit quicker than standard. No point in saying nearly 100 in 14 secs.

@iNEEDthisHACK power to weight / valvers are don
-
i swear my 1.8 valver is faster than this, i'll have to get a vid up sometime.
-
@0crosser0 yeah it's filmed on a hill!
-
@boldswede watch my vid its not standard
-
@0crosser0 2 litres vs 1.6 hmmmm
-
not a 182, the rev limiter is @ 6.500 so it's a standard K4M engine, probably on a downhill course. Still good tho
-
I have to agree with mr videeeooo :) the car does do 0-100 in 14secs if not very close :)

@0crosser0 hey dude yeah I had a 1.6 16V before I got my 182 - awesome little cars very very nippy. But you know you're in a 182 once you hit the higher revvs though as it blasts you away - both great cars :)

lol ok is that why you can clearly see it doing 0-100 in just over 14 seconds on this video? And you own a 182 and don't drive the engine hard? Then what's the point in owning one exactly? You get best performance/power/torque when you rev past 5250rpm up to 7k - yes not all the time as no one drives like that but these engines need to be pushed to get the best out of them and that's a fact. Mine's never in the garage apart from once a year - maybe your remap corrupted your car's ECU:? :-D
