I suggest you take your first calculus class and see if you can deal with it... High School Algebra is really too easy compare it with. Someone can have no problem with algebra and hate calculus but if you can handle calculus reasonably well then Civil Engineering school be doable. In the end it is not the math that gets you... the math is the easy part.

with 10 being the highest? well i mostly slept through my algebra classes and still managed an A. I'd say 2. You know you have to take up to calc3 and differential equations.

@JumboStevo I'm interested in Civil engineering by the way I would like to see in proportion how difficult it is to major in this. How would you rate HIGH SCHOOL ALGEBRA on a scale of 1-10 and the math classes in the Civil engineering field in 1-10?

What kind of engineering are you interested in? Engineering in general applies a lot of math, physics and chemistry. Math is the biggest thing, so if you aren't a math person, I wouldn't recommend engr. The hardest thing? Hmm well everything is kinda hard haha. My best advice to you is to make sure that you absolutely want to become an engineer. Determination, self-discipline, and willing to sacrifice your social life for a few years is how I see it (haha jk, kinda:P)
