Ten years ago on a cold dark night G F C
There was someone killed 'neath the town hall light
C
There were few at the scene and they all did agree G F C
That the man who ran looked a lot like me.
C
The judge said, "Son, what is your alibi? G F C
If you were somewhere else then you won't have to die."
C
I said not a word though it meant my life, G F C
I had been in the arms of my best friend's wife.
Fm C F C
She walks these hills in a long black veil.
F C F G
She visits my grave when the night winds wail.
C F C C G C
Nobody knows , nobody sees; nobody knows but me.
C
The scaffold was high and eternity near G F C
She stood in the crowd and shed not a tear
C
But sometimes at night when the cold wind moans G F C
In a long black veil she cries over my bones.
F C F C
She walks these hills in a long black veil.
F C F G
She visits my grave when the night winds wail.
C F C C G C
Nobody knows , nobody sees; nobody knows but me.
Chanson incontournable et je t'imaginais bien en faire une version à ta sauce, qui est excellente.
Par contre, tu indiques un F mineur et il me semble qu'il est plutôt majeur, d'ailleurs tu le joues majeur... ;-)
