I think I saw a Gibson custom shop reissue of this very guitar last year at a local music store.

What I like best about watching these old clips is how, not only were they tearing up the guitar, but they're being entertainers as well. You dont see that much anymore
-
AnnaAnnaYES - thank you! It's always nice to hear from a true "subject matter expert" about these things....
-
you have to love how he looks like he truly loves and has fun playing and performing. Why we all love him
-
Virtuose de la guitare et qu'elle pêche Roy !! Yeahh!!
-
@Wally991 Roy is playing a customized Gibson Byrdland,he used them early in his career
because Billy Byrd and Hank Garland(the two guitarists who inspired the initial design) were
influences of his.

If Keith Urban EVER thinks he is ANYWHERE near this man on a guitar
He'd better wake his ass up and SLAP himself!!!
-
Un-freakin-believable. Roy, you have an incredible talent on multiple instruments, but especially this one. Is the guitar an ES-175 late 50's or early 60's?
-
Looks like William Shatner of today
-
What guitar is that? Looks like it has a P90 at the bridge and a Charlie Christian pickup at the neck.
Who doesn't like Roy Clark??
