I was stationed there with the 6025 GSU, RSOI, Aug 1997 to April 1998. This was a beautiful little kaserne, but now it looking bad.

I was stationed In Babenhausen with the A 1/27 FA and then with HHS 1/27 FA from 1994-1996. Always at Cheers right across the street and also had the great honor of going on to do the Nijmegen march. It was sad to hear about the closing of this base but unfortunately due to cutbacks it had to happen sometime.

My name is Michael Powell I was stationed in Babenhausen from 1987-1992. I was friends with the guy who submitted this video (Will Will). We were in Special Weapons together and if he see this please try and contact me. Alot of the people in this video were friends of mine. This brought back good memories.
