  • Everything he said is true, I remember the time when just one professional VTR was priced about 35-4000 dollars, you need a minimum of two to make a simple rough cut ,plus at least two video monitors and audio speakers which in terms of price went close to 100 large ones. Even if you had money to spend in equipment, handling it was not a walk in the park.

    Nowadays with some 10000 $ you get decent camcorder with gear and a laptop computer with editing software.
