  • Started after a some time working out with the kettlebell again.

At the beginning: very nice movies. Plain and easy. :)

I tried this monkey swing tonight. How about your legs and back? When i tried to bent my knees to make it easier for my back, i hitted my knees with the kettlebell. I feel i have to bent over a little, but this puts a lot more pressure on the back.

    Whats your explanation.

  • @oomkoen Hey man! The short answer is that it really should NOT be easier on your back. If you're having back issues, one or both of the following are happening. Either you're losing form in the lumbar (if that's where the pain is) or there's more stability work to be done on your posterior chain. You may or may not have a big deadlift/squat total, but this is stressing muscular endurance as opposed to max strength, so look at higher rep counts of posterior chain movements.
