MP3 available at http://www.mhiris.com

This is one of my favorite songs in the entire MMX series, and I always think of this as X's theme song. It's probably the reason why I got into the series right away, because the song pulled me in and got me to like X's character.

Thanks goes to NintendoBrad for providing the link to the midi-to-NESWave converter.
You can download it at:

I found the midi file at http://www.vgmusic.com/
The sprite of X (before I recolored into classic Megaman colors) I found at http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk/

Megaman X and all related material is copyright Capcom. Original music by Setuo Yamamoto, Makoto Tomozawa, Yuki Iwai, Yuko Takehara, and Toshihiko Horiyama. Midi synthesized by Jay Reichard.

  • god stop the rolling so what its not 8-bit its also not bad

  • I wouldn't really call it abandoned, as there are cars in it

  • @BluYoshi9001 it IS NES 8-bit whit some chips

  • Well, from what I've heard, there are many types of 8-bit sounds. Not just the Nes ones.

  • You should just use the 8bit plugin for fruity loops. That'll REALLY sound like nes and be 8bit. You only get the original 3 sounds. Good luck.

  • Nice.

  • It's hard to enjoy something that doesn't sound very good.

  • @MegaMacTV Good. Now just enjoy it! *relieved sigh*

  • @BluYoshi9001 This is more than what 8-Bit is, so to speak. I wrote that comment about a year ago. At the time, I was tired of hearing nothing but converted MIDIs when looking for actual sequenced or tracked covers. Since then, I have found and made a list of all the trackers on here. There's only a handful of them, but they are very talented! =)
