The Dental Assistant program prepares graduates to work with dentists as they examine and treat patients. Dental assistants with documented skills also may carry out a variety of laboratory, clinical and office duties. Graduates receive a technical diploma. Most dental assistants work in general or specialized dental offices, either for individual dentists or for groups of dentists. Dental assistants may also find employment with federal agencies such as the Veterans' Administration, United States Public Health Services, the armed forces, or a state, county or city health facility.
more than likely you will have to move to a job offer.

@diamondsontherock get your x-ray certification pronto. also some states and counties require coronal polishing. If you are newly certified as a dental assistant then intern for a while and get some quick experience that way. don't just sit still and wait.

@GettinHigh1990 how likely do they hire you as a newly graduate especially not from a trade school but more from like ROP classes that only takes a few months?

If you've got the training, skills and knowledge, you'll have no problem finding a job. You just have to put yourself out there.
Posting your resume online works wonders.
