Harry Rose of Delray Beach, Florida, rang the Bell for the Salvation Army for the first time in his life of 86 years. Harry Rose did it with his daughter, Joanne Flournoy, and his son-in-law, Matt Flournoy. They did it as part of the Marietta Kiwanis Club of Marietta, Georgia at Macy's at Town Center Mall in Cobb County, Georgia, for a two hour shift on Saturday 12-22-07. Harry Rose said he never in his life would he have thought that he would ring the bell for the Salvation Army. Harry Rose said Merry Christmas more times than he has in his whole life.
Harry said the Salvation Army is a worthwhile organization and if people have the opportunity to ring the Bell for the Salvation Army they should do it.
