Ugh... Just becaus it snows a few times does not mean it was not a mild winter. Pennsylvania, my home state. Used to get blizzards every two years or snow. Last year we barely got 5 inches. This year with the exception of a few storms we did not get any.
Russia has been seeing some of the most mild snowless winters ever.

Yes, the warm Gulf Stream that runs along the east coast of the US all the way to Europe is what gives them a mild climate. Because of all the fresh water dumped into the ocean, it disrups the salt rotation of the Gulf Stream, thus contributing to colder weather. Learn Geography.

Did they say WHEN it would be a thing of the past? Can you provide documentation of this quote? Even if they were ridiculously wrong, what does that have to do with what the science says?

Worst winter this century. GW was fiction from nuclear power. And so wrong, and fatal!
Yes people, after summer comes fall and winter... The earth is still tilted at a 23.5 degree angle and it does sometimes cause it to tilt away from the sun.
Ugh... Climate Deniers = Creationists

The issue here is that the CRU and met office in 2000 after a few warm winters stated that snow in winder was going to be an thing of the past. Well, they were as dead wrong as drunken rodeo clowns could have made better predictions. This is not about winter it about the fact that Europe having cold winters and lots of snow when the MET office said the winter will be mild. So it points out how stupid and wrong the MET office was. So why then was the MET office so wrong with their predictions?
