if you saved a slave from being thrown over board by the spanish by buying him/ her, wouldent you want that slave after paying $500 to $1000 for him/ her to earn his/her keep sense he knew nothing about this country and would be killed if not bought, that was alot of money in them days so the slave's had great value to his owner,

the north had slaves before the war so why don't the black hate the american flag as much as thay do southern flag? see the north freed there slave so thay could fight in the war with the north, so the slaves was released to be owned by the north government, many blacks dont know this but are quick to say, thay blame us for there ansesterys slavery but what thay don't know was if the slaves wasent bought the spanish would throw them over board off the ships to be eaten by sharks

The movie is "Glory" from 1989 -- Starred Matthew Broderick as Robert Gould Shaw, the white cammander of the all-negro 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry; Cary Elwes played another white officer; and Morgan Freeman (Rawlins)and Denzel Washington (Trip) as black soldiers. Denzel Washington won his first Oscar (Best Supporting Actor) for his portrayal as the escaped slave Trip -- no doubt because of the absolutely unbelievable acting job he does during a scene in which he is whipped.

Well, you can have the song by Guns N'Roses and play it on its own, and then just hit 'play' on the video at the same time you start the song.
