The 12th largest TV market for the 45th. Smart move..... the NBA needs Seattle more than Seattle needs the NBA.
And the NBA has caused Seattle too much heartache. Many people are apathetic to it and could care less if we ever get a team back.
I'm not one of them but until we get a team I'm not putting a dime in the NBA's pocket!

u really liked the sonics?? they were terrible man. i would feel your pain if they were good but they sucked. u either hav 2 live n the seattle area or hav nba tv 2 even see them play. the nba is fine without the sonics. jus think if they were good none of this would of never happend

Give it a rest. Nobody outside of Seattle gives two shits about the NBA being there. They're old news. Players know that they are in a good situation here. Fan support is top notch unlike the pathetic crap the Sonics were getting. You guys are so chicken shit for taking care of the Mariners and Seahawks and then dumping all over the Sonics. You're a bunch of fake mother fuckers and we're not, and I can promise you....the players can see the difference. Trust me, they don't miss you.

My dream and (alot of other peoples dream) is for the Sonics to come back, Get some of the old sonic players back that are currently in the NBA, then play OKC in there first game. George Karl the Coach again and then beat the living shit out of OKC BECAUSE OKC IS A JOKE!!!

Who said players don't want to play in OKC? You don't know what you're talking about. We're gonna get our share of free agents, there might be a REAL trade or two at some point, and we're gonna add more young talent. Money talks, and we're gonna have plenty of money to play around with. And any player that experiences being here will understand and appreciate the level of committment and support that they get from the fans, we make market size less of a concern...San Antonio, Utah?
