  • Is this in the minors?

  • @ben123462 this was his rehab start at the End of April in 2010 when he was on the Mariners

  • omg..ballplayers at the higher levels are SOOO pampered..120 ft is NOT long toss..try more like 300 or 330 ft...

  • @HokiePokie33 you are correct

  • @HokiePokie33 theres no need to long toss 300ft before a game, ruins release point and mechanics

  • @HokiePokie33 Well look at it this this way too, he's there and your not.

  • I hope, for their sake, that was a bullpen catcher and not an actual player.

  • @HokiePokie33 Thats true but i wouldnt say cliff lee is pampered he works his ass off... this might just be his pre-game ritual... some guys like to long toss pre-game some don't... I guess you'd have to ask him :P

  • "nasty..yeah, just filth"

  • @iTheLightofDawn Exactly, no need to kill the arm. Long tossing before a game, you just want to to get a feel of explosion and a carry on the ball within your mechanics. Notice he never left his stretch motion, never crow hopped or crossed over to get extra.

  • @HokiePokie33 Im sure they do that in the off season... but you really dont wanna do that before you pitch a game.

  • @HokiePokie33 major leaguers play 162 games a year.

these guys throw over 200 innings a year SO GET OVER IT. theyre getting paid to perform and hes on a rehab assignment. so i dont think hes gonna be throwing 330 feet

  • @iTheLightofDawn just to stretch out, plus we also have to keep in mind that he may have already been long tossing before this video.

  • @HokiePokie33 Well can you blame them? When your arms worth 20 million dollars why try to hurt it by throwing a distance you don't need?

  • @HokiePokie33

i donno about you but id rather not throw out my arm before throwing the first pitch
