@Omegaplaya that's why all of those plates are backed by a fiber reinforced composite epoxy layer, the actual ceramic is less than .5 in it's the spall shield/trauma backing that makes up most of the thickness.

The interceptor sheets are bound to shatter upon impact, which might end in fatal injuries. Those sheets are very thick and sharp, and if broken, They might end up tearing through the vest and cause serious injuries. Best armor out there? Yeah right.

@ShaNagmaImmuru The soldier will suffer minor concussions but won't really suffer much, due to the fact that the dragon skin armor is compact, so it will be like trying to put force on a sheet of thick metal, because the armor stretches out a bit when it is on, and when it stretches, it creates a flat surface. The soldier might suffer from minor bruises and cuts from the force of the round, but nothing serious.
