... well I think it's brilliant... and I'm wondering if you know how close to the truth you are with this. This is happening now in it's late stages. The earth's ionized atmosphere could be lit up like a fluorescent tube with the right amount of energy.

Some days the sky looks more like an atinic or cool white tube. Japanes paper cieling in the sky, Omni was a great subscription for a kid like me... I think.
