@12leogeo I had to steal a copy from my mom! I never got one. Carson might have a few stashed away, but there aren't much left I don't think. And thank you for the compliments, and regarding the organic nature of it - you're right.

@12leogeo tried to message you but you have message block. I have a good collection of ent songs shoot me a message and I'll give u a list if you want me to email them your way

@UrsaMirror Ah I see you uploaded leftover starfighter. By any chance do you have the entire show from start to finish? It would be sweet to watch all of what you have from it. Thanks much!

Wow! its really difficult to write music that way - but if possible, there is no better way to do it. After reading your comment it makes alot of sense why your music stood out in the way it did & why it was difficult for another copy to emerge.
I think alot of people like Ent because of the time signatures, technicality, etc., but they miss the orcanic chemistry and beauty.
Does any one have the vinyl of Farewell Metropolis?
I would pay a pretty penny for it?

@jacosmith86 I have a video of a rather crappy show we played at a crappy coffee bar in San Louis Obispo to no one but my dad and his friends. It's loose, and I had to tape up all my cymbals because they were mad at us for how loud we were. Do you think posting something like that would be cool? I only ask because it's not a very good representation of our live show.

@12leogeo Thank you very much! I'm very honored, as I'm sure the rest of the guys are that people are still into our music. The songs were very "real" to us at the time, as I have no other way to describe it. We wrote by jamming out parts, not a single person coming to a practice with a song written - a completely democratic process. It took a long time, but I think it shows - all of our personalities are there in our individual parts.

if anynone from ent reads this - please please please - post something on the web - Im studing romanticism in grad school and your music is one the greatest manifestations of artistic inspiration - it is sublime (not like the band, I repeat not like the band)

I saw these guys at capitol garage (one of the best shows EVER!) sadly the memories are fading _ I would pay tons to get my hands on some live footage.
Ian Hill is one of my favorite drummers too - listen to (check out crime in choirs 2nd album - he plays on that too)
I tried to buy the 7 inch online from some dude in england and I never got it (so madd!)
Fortunately I worked with a guy from the old band low flying owls and i got a burned copy of farewell metropolis.

@UrsaMirror Did you guys ever record that song aside from the Hard Rock cafe version? I've had that one for dayzz.
Rad! I was the drummer on the original track. Your recreation is pretty goddamned close! Scotty and Carson played some pretty weird stuff together.

@UrsaMirror Ian Hill! It's so cool to have you commenting on my stuff. You don't even know how big of an influence you've been on my musical life. I remember being in highschool back when I discovered Ent and it changed my life. I ran across you dudes randomly online. Ent threw me into prog music and I never recovered. I think the craziest I had before you was Rush! I seriously still listen to your songs almost once a week after about 9 years now. Your drumming is a big influence for me.
