PHP & MySQL Tutorial 09: File Upload system with records in MySQL: Part 1

@nAmeLEsSaLoNe I cannot do ms word as it is a proprietary format, PDFs have an open specification, so there are many libraries you can use to output them, fpdf.org is easier to use than the built-in functions php has.

@nAmeLEsSaLoNe You don't want to store such files in your Database directly, If you do, you will make backing up much harder and restoring much harder in case of database failure.

Are you looking to make a searchable document uploader or something?
