In the premodern world, people had a different view of history. They were less interested in what actually happened and more concerned by the meaning of an event. Today, myth is something which most people would eagerly dispense with as infantile nonsense. Unfortunately, this is due to the arrogance of the modern World which insists upon its own values alone and therefore blinds itself to other concepts and ideas from more deeply rooted societies. Myths are not mere falsehoods, nor collective fantasies of an arbitrary sort, but rather profound and enduring patterns of meaning that inform the human psyche.

  • VERY interesting, but I found a typical assortment of JUST male thinkers, no women. ALSO I would say that the myth of the 'fallen Goddes' is not really benign but is part of an androcentric mythos, and ESPECIALLY the Garden of Eden myth dengrates the Goddess, women, and nature and incites dominionism of nature by 'superior God created man'.

Also please be aware that 'hidden in plain sight' IS a mythic matrix being cast over the 'educated' by an occult conspiracy. Ie., via THEIR myth

  • @zezt Thanks, I agree about the Goddess, ofcourse the patriarchy would lay the fall on man on women. Yes, absolutely, the war of the words.

  • What is the music in this video?

  • @zezt Elaine Pagels? your use of the term "typical" is frustrating. we cannot deny the history of the male hegemony, and we are all working hard to get past it, but looking for it everywhere will blind you. the fact that women were historically left out of academia, and are still underrepresented is something to discuss, but the frustration you express here is misplaced. the liberation of women should be seen for what it is, the most important RECENT evolution of our species.

  • @HoloplexProductions LOL, thanks for seeing this :)))

  • @zezt 2--which is propaganda and makes us think that we, all other species, nature, and the universe are machines--which is the real dumbing down of our bodymindssouls---that having done that they can then more easily manipulate us, and even blow our limbs off, poison, and murder us with their occult myths--which derive from the sun cults which suppressed Goddess mythos anciently---and many of us are none the wiser because we are blind to understanding patterns, association, correspondences!
