intriguing workpiece, good demo
-
All of your videos are extremely interesting. The quality of the machining is flawless!
Could you enlighten me how the machined processes the parts? Do you give it instructions as from doing A then B, or the software accepts the CAD model and figures it out for itself to machine the part?
Cheers!

This "motorcycle component" looks like it would cost more than most motorcycles. How long did the whole thing take?

Salutations BipolarAxeMan,
Indeed the component would cost alot - but for certain sections of the market the money is not the issue - the uniqueness of the component & the ultra accurate quality & immaculate surface finish are.
You would be surprised how many bespoke products have components machined from solid on them now.
Cheers

Great machine! Is the table direct drive..?
Does it have constant surface speed..?

Greetings CNCIT,
The ultra robust DD turning spindle motor
was designed in house by Matsuura, & the DD C-Axis Motor achieves high positional accuracy during Milling & high speed rotation whilst Turning. A table rotation speed of 1,800 min-1 assures
exceptional surface finish in cast iron or steel.
Thanks for the question - & sorry for the delay in answering.
cheers

How is the workpiece held on the pallet?
.

Greetings Kathump,
Cool name - like it - 1960s Batman fan?
The CUBLEX-42 has a round 300mm pallet with a series of precision tapped M12 holes in it. The workpiece is firmly & accurately located on the pallet using these holes.
Thanks for the question.
Best regards
