Junosden,
I have watched your video, and as a professional in information technology, I would advise against getting windows 7.
It's a bloated piece of crap. Netbooks are severely limited in space. Windows 7 takes 16 gigabytes of hard-disk space with only one quarter of the functionality of windows xp professional.
It's memory requirements are also a joke. 1 gb minimum. Whom ever coded windows 7 should be dragged to the streets and shot.
No you want to have a good netbook. Go with windows xp professional, get the latest service packs, put the desktop in windows classic mode and disable all the useless services you don't need. And for goodness sake use firefox!!
The result is a fast, efficient and cost-effective machine that will give you tons of milage and will function well.
Of course you could go with linux. There you have two choices as far laptops go. U-boon-too and Damn small linux. U-boon-too works great and has great functionality and can give you your money's worth.
If you are dealing with an older machine that has limited ram and such. Go with Damn Small linux. The entire operating system is only 50 megabytes in size and clearly is a nice demonstration of how an operating system should be in size.
Your Opinion is crap... Best operating systems made by microsoft is Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 Ultimate... Hands Down...
XP is great, But i can tell by what you say your not used to things that are big in size... Baahahahahaha!!!

Correction: windows 7 takes about 7 and 3 quarters gigabite memory space. Windows 7 isn't bloatware, that's your oppinion if it is or not. And also netbook all have over 100 gigabites ssd memory space now.
