Islam is meant to be a religion of peace. unfortunately for it and for the world some exremists have used their religion to justify some terrible, immoral acts, and Islam is now reviled by many people, but there are many modern, moderate, liberal Muslims. Look at the Arab Spring, Sadiq Khan or Medhi Hasan. Many Islamic countries are torn apart by tribal conflict, but not because those countries are Muslim countries.

No need to resort to childish insults.

I don't want the UK to turn into the middle-east: many of the regimes in the middle east are highly authoritarian and have little regard for their people. Their is war, restrictions on personal and political freedom, mysoginy: no I don't want to live there.

Why does culture need to stay at home? I think variety enriches.

And in what way am I undemocratic? Please tell me, you keep repeating it when it is clearly false, and I want to know why.

Who do you mean by socialists?

I stand for all those things: liberty, freedom, democracy, a good justice system and definitely equality.

Will UKIP guarentee those?

Would UKIP not deprive minorities of their rights?

Would free-market, libertarian ideals create equality? I can answer that one, and it's a no.

And what do you mean by a good justice system? I mean one that is good for society and reforms people.

Multiculturalism is a separate issue - it is better for Britian, but not relevant to this discussion.

Sharia courts - read up on jurisprudence and relativism: and the meaning of the term sharia law is often misconstrued to mean corporal punishment and sexism etc. all of those other stereotypes.

Labour never "bowed down to islamists" - anyone can see that.

Labour never HELD a referendum, apart from one in 1975, two in '79 and two in '97. 5 referenda then.

And as for using only the facts and history, please start doing so yourself.

And it's not just Labour that smooth talks. Everyone does it. And I mean everyone. For all Nigel Farage's vacuous proclamations about 'straight talking', he is no more guiltless than any Labour politician of smooth talking. And UKIP's policies need it: if half the people that vote for them at elections actually knew what they stood for I'm thikning a lot of them might think differently.
