Rest in peace, Erland Josephson. :(

this mans films are the most astounding I have ever seen.
-
depression? no it's a deep passion, passion of living
-
the most Chehovian piece by Tarkovskij, it's surprising that he needed to go abroad to make it; on the other hand it was the year of Tschernobyl i prefer "Solaris"

@Nostalgia4me I don't think , YOU are a TARKOVSKY FAN. """"""""""is it worth buying????? are you fuking serious???????""""""""" clearlly not for you mon ami. wow. and you call your self Nostalgia4me. its a disgrace ;)

@lieberman70 He believed that such Sacrifice would obtain God's favor's to save the world. He didn't actually did it. It was some sort of fantasy or hallucination, since things were already irreversible. The third war WAS the last one. .

@Nekronn And it was.

By far one of the most beautiful and profound films ever made. Absolute masterpiece.

Each and every frame on the celuloidmust be perfect, a work of art. Of course, this is just one side of this masterpiece. My problem with Tarkovski is that after him I just can't stand ANYTHING else. With few exceptions, like The Seventh Seal, for one.

Man, just look at it. It looks digital. I can't imagine how his films after this would have looked.
Fucking thousand-star-rate!!!
