  • This episode is now on youtube on full.

  • Remember this episode very well, cos I was always so scared of HIV (ironically enough waiting for my own test results now at the age of 29) Arthur was a bastard to Mark grrrrrrr.

  • As much as I love popular characters like Steve Owen, Alfie Moon, Grant Mitchell, Little Mo Slater and Dennis Rickman, there could never be anyone who could replace Mark and Arthur Fowler, true Eastender legends!

  • Brilliant Acting from Todd Carty here. He knows just how to wind his father up and how to make it funny aswell the way he goes you don't know which one it is

  • @TheMscrp But once he came to terms with it all through the help of Mark,Pauline and Michelle he realised he had nothing to feel scared of, suppose everyone takes different view, know would support Mark if he was my son or brother.

  • @icecreamscuseme Arthur was Eastenders legend, played magnificently by Bill Treacher right from episode 1 in 1985 to his death in 1996, was big loss to the show.

  • @TheMscrp What because of this one scene, Arthur was genuinly nice guy, he just had trouble coming to terms with Marks illness.

  • I never watched Eastenders in the days when Arthur was about but seeing all these old clips of him is wonderful. He seemed like a big loss to the show.

  • @vrz07 He found out his drugs were no longer working in early 2003 so he rode off on his motorcycle in a last bid to see the world. He died offscreen in April 2004.

  • this is great shows how arengent people are. and all you people that say aids is for gay people i think you might be on to something same thing as cancer is for old old people lukimia is for kids come on people its a fucking virus just like a cold any person ca get it read a fucking book.
