With only 2 months before Sudan conducts its referendum on self determination, the intergovernmental authority on development ---IGAD-- is meeting in Addis Ababa Ethiopia this weekend to deliberate on sticky issues around the plebiscite. Among the issues that could potentially plunge Sudan back to war include the tussle surrounding border demarcation and how to share natural resources. However, in an interview with Sylvia Chebet, Sudanese ambassador Majok Guadong said the referendum would take place as stipulated in the 2005 comprehensive peace agreement.
