Dexter and Zoot, eating peanut butter and responding to "Look," and (belatedly) "Sit." It's hard to take "sit" seriously when there's peanut butter about.

They were strays a couple of months ago. We met when they approached me in my front yard and expressed some interest in a bucket of chicken I was bringing home. Neighbors told me they begged for a living all through the rainy winter. They had long hair that had to be cut off because it was so matted and caked with algae. They were badly underweight, especially Dexter (the black one). The amount of food he devoured during the first couple of weeks was astonishing. Dexter currently tips the scales at 12.4 pounds, and Zoot 13.4.

The "Look" command is part of a regime intended to cure them of "leash reactivity." Aside from wanting to get into a tiff with other dogs six times their size when they are walking on leash, they are almost perfect gentlemen. (Gentledogs?) They love people, especially the smaller ones.

  • @JiveDadson true!! you 're right! it's all about money my friend! want faster youtube? that's why chrome is here!!

  • @vben92 I just watched the video on Google Chrome. It ran on the first try start to finish without a snag. The VB script page source for the video has something in it about a cookie and a "timing experiment." It also has special case code for Google Chrome! All coincidence, no doubt.

  • @vben92 Every change Youtube makes is for the worse. They would be right at home in Washington DC.

  • @JiveDadson It is like a stop-motion video..the whole youtube new site is kind of confusing anyway so who knows maybe they will fix it. i have this problem in a lot of videos not always HD!

  • @JiveDadson It does it even when the entire video is buffered.

  • @vben92 - The video got hung a couple of times just now even though the bar at the bottom indicated there was plenty of content in the buffer. Youtube may have switched to a faulty codex.

  • @JiveDadson 4 me as well

  • Cute dogs. :)
