Doofenshmirtz is supossably from some place in Germany. It's an odd, out of the way place according to Phineas and Ferb the show.

Doofenshmirtz is not German. He is Druselsteinian. Also, Phineas, Ferb, and Candace are descended from people who lived there two centuries ago (see The Monster of Phineas-n-Ferbenstein). Also Candace is the identical twin of the Princess of Druselstein (see Make Play). Although I personally can't vouch for this, German speakers have commented that the dialogue for Druselsteinians is not proper German, suggesting that it is either a distant dialect or a related but different language.
